FAQs
You can start as soon as you receive all your tax documents, typically by early February. We recommend filing early to get your refund faster and reduce identity theft risk. We’re accepting appointments starting January 15th.
The federal deadline is typically April 15th (or the next business day if it falls on a weekend/holiday). However, we can file an extension giving you until October 15th. Note: an extension to file is not an extension to pay any taxes owed.
Yes! Get in touch with us here. Our team is quick to respond and can’t wait to work with you. We are accepting new Tax Preparation clients and can meet wither remotely or in-person, up to your preference
Yes! We offer drop-off service where you provide your documents and we’ll prepare your return. We’ll call you to review it before filing. We also offer virtual appointments and in-person consultations.
Contact your employer or payer first. If you can’t get it by mid-February, request a wage and income transcript from the IRS. We can help you with this process and still file your return accurately.
Common reasons include: tax law changes, prior-year overpayment applied to this year, offsets for past-due debts (student loans, child support, taxes), or calculation errors. We’ll review and explain your exact refund amount.
If you’re self-employed and use part of your home exclusively and regularly for business, yes. W-2 employees generally cannot deduct home office expenses (this changed after 2017).
You’ll have a dedicated account manager as your main point of contact. Reach out via email, phone, or scheduled calls, whatever works best for you. Most questions get answered within a few hours, and we schedule regular check-ins to review your financials and address any concerns.
As long as you provide us with the necessary documents requested and prior year tax returns, they will be done on time.
